The Latest On Florida Georgia Line

July 5, 2014

fgl-promo-picA new album wil be out this October and Florida Georgia Line will give a taste of its sound this July 8. “Dirt” will be heard on radios at 5 A.M. (CT). The band seems to describe the sound as a bit slow and nostalgic. Brian and Tyler will also busy themselves performing on a cruise, their first ever. Kelley promises lots of great music and artists, and of course a generous amount of drinks, sun, and all out fun. The band is set to sail in November, performing for “This is How We Cruise”; they’ll be traveling from Miami onto Nassau, and way to Bahamas’ Great Stirrup Cay.

Fans will surely see at least 2 FGL shows and a private Question and Answer portion is promised. Other performers and guests wil be: Thomas Rhett, Nelly, Tyler Farr, Colt Ford,  Maggie Rose, Cole Swindell, the Cadillac Three, and more. Expect to see vacationers to be at arms length with these celebrities on the cruise.

Florida Georgia Line has 14 million track sales to date, with a bulk of the count falling on “Cruise”. It is now rated as the best-selling digital country single (all-time). Other hits are “Get Your Shine On”, “Stay”, “This is How We Roll” and “Round Here”. The duo has quickly become a sought after act in the music scene, performing everywhere and doing interviews everywhere.

In a recent interview with the two vocalists, Kelley admitted to being taken by surprise at the great love and acceptance they received from fans. The focus was just on making great music and performing it. He never thought that they would be seen as ‘music changers’. Indeed, they’ve been credited for revolutionizing the face and sound of country.

On a lighter side, Brian shared some random stuff about himself. He shared about his love for drinking Jack and Coke, and munching on chocolate chip cookies and sunflower seeds.

Current schedule includes guestings on Jason Aldean’s Tour (“Burn it Down”) which runs through October. On July 4, at 11 P.M. (Friday) FGL will headline Country USA in OshKosh. You may visit here for more florida georgia line tour details.
